Located just minutes from The Madrones and The Brambles in Philo on a ridge overlooking Anderson Valley, Sugar Hill Farm is a working farm with extensive gardens. It is also where the second generation cultivation is for The Bohemian Chemist brand. There are two apartments located in the carriage house that are open for bookings at limited times each season.

Sugar’s Place
This five acre farm was original purchased by the owner’s mother Rosemary, nicknamed “Sugar”, who was a master gardener that grew up in a farming family. She was the original maverick as she grew cannabis under Proposition 215 for medical purposes, years before legal recreational use. Rosemary created a topical that helped with her rheumatoid arthritis and the ailments of others suffering from pain.
About your stay
The two apartments are treated as vacation rentals and do not have daily housekeeping service. Each guest quarters has a full working kitchen, so this is the perfect place for those that want to do some cooking. Like The Madrones, there are quiet places to relax in the gardens.
