At The Madrones, we are proud to have two tasting rooms representing some of the valley’s finest winemakers and their own labels, Long Meadow Ranch and Wentworth Vineyards.
Unlike some of the larger more developed wine regions, you will often find one of our winemakers pouring here at the tasting room and joyfully sharing their craft. Each has a unique perspective, style and approach to their wine making, with many of their vintages only available through their tasting rooms.
Each tasting room is independently owned and operated. Please review their websites (noted below) for days & hours of operation.
Long Meadow Ranch is a family-owned producer and purveyor of world-class wine and food. They use diversified, sustainable, and organic farming methods. Their Anderson Valley Estate has 69 acres planted to Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris. With the Navarro River to the southeast and close proximity to the Pacific Ocean, a natural marine layer blankets the vineyards and creates terroir ideal for their estate-grown Burgundian varietals to mature slowly and ripen to the peak of their varietal character.
Katie and Mark X. Wentworth—New Jersey natives who were drawn to rural Northern California by shared passions for great food, wine, and nature—produce terroir-driven estate-grown wines. Their premium fruit comes from the high elevation Wentworth Vineyard in the Mendocino Ridge AVA and two distinct mid-slope Anderson Valley vineyards: Nash Mill Vineyard and Abel Vineyard. All three sites are regeneratively farmed and influenced by the nearby Pacific Ocean.
